At Little Earthquake Pots HQ, Claydates take place inside our secluded Scandi-style log cabin studio, hidden deep within the woodland just outside Nailsworth. The moment you step inside, time slows down: soft lighting, warm timber walls, the sound of the potter’s wheel, a snoring spaniel and fresh countryside air.
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, surprising your partner, organising a memorable experience with a friend or simply wanting to try something new, a ClayDate is relaxed, playful and completely hands-on. You’ll learn how to prepare clay, centre on the wheel and throw your own pottery piece from scratch. After the session, choose your glaze colour and leave your creations with us — we’ll fire and finish them so you can collect them a few weeks later.
